You study. Your rating doesn'tmove.

You have puzzles, courses, books, videos. You have content. What you don't have is a plan that connects any of it.

You play a game, lose, review it with the engine. The engine shows you what you should have played. It doesn't tell you why you keep missing it, or what to do tomorrow so you stop.

Most players never work with a coach, and players who do see them for an hour a week. ASCENDCHESS covers the rest of the week.

Your AI coach, across everysession.

Import your games. See your weaknesses. Get a plan. Drill it.

  1. Import yourgames.

Connect your Lichess or Chess.com account, or import a PGN. Every game gets engine analysis and coaching context.

  2. See yourweaknesses.

Weakness tracking across every phase of the game. Patterns, imbalances, psychology, time use. Insights that get sharper the more you play.

Example from one member's games: "Pre-endgame mistakes are your most frequent mistake category right now: 14 across your last 20 analyzed games, about 0.7 per game."

  3. Get aplan.

A session brief on every visit. Two or three specific things to practice, chosen from your real games and your active study material.

"Chapter 4 of your endgame book maps to the pattern you lost yesterday."

  4. Drillit.

Focused fork practice at your level.

Example from one member's games: "You missed 7 of 12 fork positions in your analyzed games."

It tells you what to do today, then follows up tomorrow.

A real method. Not a featurelist.

Yourquestions

Is this just another AI chess tool?

No. Plenty of tools analyze your games and tell you where you blundered. ASCENDCHESS connects game analysis to your study material, builds a daily plan from both, trains you on your specific weaknesses, and follows up. The AI is the delivery mechanism. The product is a coaching relationship that compounds.

How do I know the chess it teaches is correct?

Because we check it. Where a taught position or a coaching claim can be verified against a chess engine or an endgame tablebase, we verify it before it reaches you, and we do not teach what we cannot stand behind. When something has not been verified yet, we label it rather than present a guess as fact. Most platforms never draw that line. We treat it as the core of the job.

Will the AI coach just tell me I played well?

No. The AI coach will not praise a weak move or soften a bad one to keep you comfortable. If a move is a mistake, it says so, with the reason and a better option. It is warm, and it credits a genuinely strong decision when you make one, but only a real one. Honest feedback, not flattery. That is the only kind that makes you better.

What rating range is this built for?

ASCENDCHESS is built around players rated 800 to 1800, and improvers on either side of that range get real use out of it. The improver who plays two to four times a week, has a shelf of books, studies inconsistently, and wants daily coaching. When they're ready for a human coach, we help them bridge to one.

Does this replace a chess coach?

No. A human coach brings relationship, accountability, tournament wisdom, and emotional support that software cannot replicate. ASCENDCHESS is for the player who can't afford that yet, and it includes a human-coach handoff when you're ready. If you already work with a coach, we'll make every session you pay for more productive.

When can I get in?

Right now, ASCENDCHESS is open. Create your account and you'll get your first session brief today.

Will my game history import?

Yes. Connect your Lichess or Chess.com account, or import a PGN. Every game gets engine analysis and coaching context. Your weakness profile builds automatically as you play.
